Greenville Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization whose purpose is the promotion and development of soccer in Greenville, Mississippi and the surrounding area. GYSA was formed in 1985 and has been providing high quality soccer programs for the youth of our community for over 30 years.
GYSA is a member of Mississippi Soccer Association (MSA). Mississippi Soccer Association is a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYS) and is the official representative of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) for the State of Mississippi. Through our affiliation with MSA, GYSA's players and coaches are also affiliated with the USYS and have the opportunity to participate in a number of state, regional and even national programs.
GYSA’s programs provide opportunities for local Recreational play as well Academy style training, competitive play, and travel teams. We currently offer local fall and spring recreational playing options for boys and girls ages 3 & up, year-round competitive level play for boys and girls in the U7 through U10 age groups with the Greenville Blues F. C. program, and year-round competitive level play for boys & girls in the U11 through U16 age groups with the Delta Blues soccer club, a collaboration between GYSA and Cleveland Youth Soccer Association (CYSA).
For the 2019-2020 season, we are offering new programs for Junior High and High School age players to participate in recreational level play during their offseasons if enrollment in these programs is sufficient. We will also offer an Adult recreational league in the spring, as we hope to build on the success of that program which we formally began during spring of 2019.
